Our Story

In May 1999 “I” John Shrock was employed at Imperial Diesel doing diesel engine prep work and also helped rebuild engines as well.  When the gen-set business crashed  after the Y2K scare proved false, several workers were laid off and I worked for a local farmer for a few years.

Then in May 2007 my wife and I opened Shrock’s Repair  repairing tractors and farm equipment. In addition to doing repairs we also parted out several JD tractors.  Shortly after getting business running smoothly we got into rebuilding fuel injection pumps for farmers and loggers ect.

With fuel injection pump rebuilding getting busier all the time and realizing there are  several other businesses operating under the name of Shrock’s Repair the decision was made to change to a new business name and to focus on fuel injection as our main line.

Purr-Effect Diesel became our new business name in July 2016.
